A professional looking Web Design would use no more than three main colors. You can use a variation of these colors throughout the whole website with shades and tints of them.

If you use a maximum of three colors there is less chance of the colors not co-coordinating, if this happens the Web Design loses its quality and class?

Navigation is the next key point in good Web Design and equally as important as color co-ordination.

In fact navigation and color co-ordination are the main priorities in Web Design and if you don’t get both of this right your website could fail miserably. Even if your products or whatever you are selling is top quality without a good Web Design you will not attract the customers to use your site let alone try your products.

Navigation is important because it allows your users to travel through your website. If they are impressed by the color creation in the Web Design they will want to investigate further and to do this they need to navigate with ease.

One of the main reasons users click off sites is because they can’t navigate through the site. Some may stay on the site and struggle for a bit longer but inevitably get lost and click away. Most users will give up straight away and look for another website displaying the items they are looking for.

If your website is easy to navigate users will stay and investigate further.
